Brock and Laurin

Her side of the story-

"It all started back when I was in 8th grade.  I remember walking to my 6th period orchestra class everyday, and seeing Brock at his locker.  I knew he never noticed me, but I sure noticed him!  After a couple weeks of just walking by and pretty much stalking him.... my friend, Hannah came up to me and said guess what Laurin?!?! I said what? She said I have a boyfriend! I said you do! Who? She replies well he's younger than us and you might not know him but his name is Brock Thompson. I was like shut up!! you're serious!!! (If you can imagine our giddy middle school selves). All I could think was, ahhh man... this sucks. I'm in love with this boy and he's dating my best friend.  About 2 weeks went by and I found out that they "broke up", and I just decided to let it go and get over him. A year went by and it was the summer before my Sophomore year, the same friend Hannah started dating Brock's older brother, and she knew I liked Brock. So one night at a High School football game she made me sit by him. Let me remind you...... I was scared outta my mind! I'd never sat this close to a boy that I liked! Not to mention we shared a blanket!! As time went on we hung out, and kept talking. I finally said to him, "Brock people keep asking me if we are together.... and I don't know what to say to them." He said well let's just make it official. I knew that's what he would say, and its exactly what I wanted to hear. :) So since then its been almost 5 years we have been together.  We have defiantly had a lot of bumps and breaks in the road, but I don't think we would be where we are today if it weren't for the hard times that we have been through together.  He is literally my best friend, and my go to guy.  He has and will always be there when I'm sad, or happy, or just darn grumpy.  He's the core to my apple, the candy to my cane, and the sun to my shine.  He is my soul mate and I love him more than life itself. I can not wait to spend the rest of my life with him and grow old together!"
