His side of the story-
"Our story starts my Freshman year of high school at a football game. We first met through a mutual friend and our relationship has just taken off from there. We went to almost every high school dance together and spent so much time together in high school. I took a little flack from some of my friends for spending so much time with Laurin, but every minute I spent with her was worth it! I asked Laurin to marry me on St. Patrick’s Day this year at a Real Salt Lake game. Thankfully she said yes! I custom made two Real Salt Lake jerseys with my last name on both and put our favorite numbers on the back, wore both jerseys almost all day without her noticing and took the top one off and showed her the other one I was wearing and asked her to marry me at the game. I hope she will remember that special day forever. We have now been together for almost 6 years. It has been a great 6 years with my best friend. We have had our ups and downs, but I cant wait to take this next step in our life!"
